Position: Licensed Child Care Administrator (LCCA) — New Nonprofit Residential Program
Location: Kilgore, TX
Compensation:
• $65,000–$75,000 per year, depending on experience
• Full-time or part-time considered
Job Description:
A new nonprofit organization in Kilgore, TX is seeking a Licensed Child Care Administrator (LCCA) to oversee and help establish its first General Residential Operation (GRO) serving youth. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a mission-driven organization from its inception and play a key leadership role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the Administrator of record for the residential program
• Ensure compliance with Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) licensing standards
• Oversee daily operations of the home
• Supervise and train staff
• Develop and implement policies and procedures
• Maintain required documentation and records
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for youth residents
Qualifications:
• Current Texas LCCA license in good standing (required)
• Experience in residential child care preferred
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a startup environment
• Commitment to serving vulnerable youth in a positive and supportive setting
